Seiko
In 1881, Kintaro Hattori opened a watchmaking workshop in the Ginza district of Tokyo, which would become the current Seiko Holdings Corporation. He decided that Seiko should always be one step ahead, and in less than ten years he created a full-fledged "Seikosha" factory from a simple clock repair shop.
Seiko is renowned for its innovations such as the KINETIC technology, Spring Drive or the Astron solar GPS watch. The brand also offers a famous collection of diving watches, Prospex, launched in 1965 and which was the first diving watch in Japan.
